Took the kids to the newly (currently being) remodeled science museum.  They opened up the first floor as the entrance, gift shop, and traveling display area.  The second floor will house the permanent displays as well as the classrooms.  What they have completed thus far looks awesome!  I can't wait to see the final product.  

Just wanted to thank everyone for your support and friendly emails.  I literally scream (quietly because the kids are usually asleep) whenever I read my mail.  Please keep them coming!

I had a little time today to work on the seasonal section.  I added a couple pumpkin patches to the Fall list.  I still have a lot more to add with Halloween coming up.  What are some of your favorite activities for Fall?

We stopped at Bailey Park today for some pictures and to update the amenities list.  I guess I never realized the building attached to the grounds was a community center.  I love having a little green space in the middle of a busy urban setting.  A huge bonus for me is that the entire park is fenced in and I don't have to worry about my kids running near the road.
